Revisiting My 2018 NBA Mock

June 04, 2019 by Nicholas Clark

Who is a genius ? I AM. Well I mean, I think I did a pretty good job of evaluating where players should have gone. I know there are some misses, but wow very solid. I also realize the quality is pretty good for a 1999 personal computer, but that’s where I was at in 2018. Now I’m living in the future with a domain name and everything. How times have changed..

Biggest Hit: Big Mitch- He should have gone top 10 so projecting him as 15 isn’t bad. He was drafted at 36 which was crazy to me, but he sit out college like an un-American commi.

Biggest Miss: Kevin Huerter- Yeah, I get there are a lot of misses. WHO CARES. Don’t say it’s MPJ. He is still going to be a star and 5 might have been low. Trae Young couldd be 1/2, but 7 isn’t the worst. No Okogie makes me sad, but I wasn’t going to mock some two year player from Georgia Tech. I can’t be letting other teams know about these sleepers. Kevin Huerter was a lot better than I had hoped. He is a player that I do not root for at first, but once he has proved himself, I respect. We all know the reason he was low for me. Never judge a book by its cover or hair.

Pick that will look good in 3 years: Lonnie Walker IV- W0W the Clippers would have loved to have took Lonnie right now. The guy is going to explode! He can jump out of the gym and still can grow. I look forward to seeign him tear up Summer League. Don’t forget the IV.

Worst Pick: Brandon McCoy: I guess, since he eas not drafted you would have to say McCoy. I still wouldn’t sleep on him as he is a 7’0” monster.

My favorite Picks: Having Khri Thomas 28 and Khyri Thomas 29 lol
